Friending people on facebook with low amount of friends? (Help)?
I am creating my facebook account right now, and i really do not have many people at all that i can add right off the bat. As i go looking for people i do sort of know, i do not want to send them a request and have them see that i only have like 10 friends on facebook. I feel that they would probably laugh and think of me as an awkward unsociable person. In other words i feel that i would be making them feel as if he/she is one of the few people i actually know. Is this true? If so how can i make some facebook friends without posting to one of those add me groups?
Yes it will say that i just created it, but the person will still get the feeling that they are like on of the only friends i have being that i barley every talk to this person, and he/she is already receiving a friend request from me?

it will say on your wall that you just created your facebook so anyone you add will realise that you are just starting out and wont have loads of friends straight away! Smile

Hi! I had the same feelings when I was starting out on facebook, just a little while ago. There is an option to make your friends list invisible to others, this way they can't see how many friends you have and who they are. You can change that again later on if you wish. Here's a link that explains step by step how to do it: http://webapps.stackexchange.com/questio...n-facebook
