Each generation of America's youth used to stand up to oppression, have they been distracted by MTV/Twitter?
Did the powers that be distract them with MTV/twitter/Myspace/Facebook/Youtube while they were busy selling out their future, and in some cases brainwash them into voting for the oppressors?

Yes. This generation has been intentionally dumbed down and now look we're we're headed.

Go over to Polls & Surveys where all the 16 year olds hang out and ask who likes Obama....about 95% of the responses are "I love Obama" "Obama is the man" "Obama is the greatest ever"

This country is in real trouble.

The progressive dumbing down of our youth has been happening since the 70's. Occupy them with them commercialism and self importance and desires to be wealthy and they will ignore what's going on around them.

Yes, liberalism infiltrating our education entertainment and media outlets has been a key factor in brainwashing confusing this already confused generation of youth. God bless.

All that along with the corrupt education system, medical system, genetic modification of food, drugs and alcohol all are perfect tools for making people docile and therefor blind to what is really going on.

The "Barney Generation" has come of age.
This generation has, since birth, been bombarded with the idealism of socialism, beginning with the use of the propaganda box (TV) as a baby sitter. Exposure to "socialized education" by predominately liberal Unionized teachers expanded the sense of entitlement.
Today's technology provides a means of furthering a group mentality of "belonging" with the "like minded".
This generation is simply a product of their environment.
They will experience great difficulty in adjusting to the downward turn in the economy and the fact that work will become necessary for survival.

Yeah, i know what you mean, I think we're laking of good young role models, they show you no healthy between, or you are shallow, thinking only of yourself, partying, drinking without control, or you're someone "boring" very obsessed to make a change.
I've fight a lot about it, I'm a young doctor, fresh from medical school, i like to talk to young kids and often I give speeches about health, sexuality and drugs, and now and then I participate in charity events; and I still like to have fun, i like to go to parties and drink moderately, some of my fellows have call my attention telling me I shouldn't... but I don't think is wrong, I'm a responsible person, I take good care of my patients and take time to do some charity .... and I think that's the thing , they point their fingers at you if you are both, so young people of course if they have to chose rather be partying than make a change in the world....
