How to delete Instagram via iPhone?

I want to delete my Instagram completely

press and hold the icon on ur phones screen. a cross will appear on it touch that

You cant on the iphone app, you have to do it online at http://instagram.com/

1. log in,
2. go to "edit profile" by clicking on your user name in the top right corner
3. scroll down to the bottom of the page, you'll see a blue text that says "I'd like to delete my account on right hand side, across from the green submit button.
4. click it, you will be directed to a page where it makes you tell them why, and your account will be gone for good.

remember you cant get it back, so make sure that deleting it is what you REALLY want to do.
