How to websites like bit.ly / tinyurl.com/ facebook etc get paid eventhough there is no advertisements ported on their websites. What is the source of income for them.

Facebook has a tonne of ads on their platform.. check out the ads in the right hand side of your screen. It will as lucrative to them as Google ads are to Google soon enough. The cynic in me also thinks that Facebook sells details about all of us to marketing companies although I cannot prove this

There is a "Pro" version of bit.ly that gives frequent users much more functionality in terms of analysis & reporting, custom domains & easy set up & integration with other platforms.. you subscribe to this service.. that is how they get paid.

TinyURL get paid through Donations. See the Donate button on their website. Believe it or not a lot of people do donate to their site.
