Is it possible for Instagram to block someone on accident?

Okay, I don't think this is possible but this girl I've been talking to for awhile now blocked me on Instagram. I asked her about it and she said it blocked two if her girl friends also and she says it won't let her unblock us. I don't believe that Instagram would just block me out of the blue. She gets upset cuz she thinks I don't believe her and tbh, I don't. So is it possible for Instagram to do this? If so, how do we fix it? I'd like actual proof here if possible, not just opinions.

I'm honestly not that sure about your situation, but something like that has happened to my friend before. Twitter unfollowed one of her friends without her knowing lol. If she insists that it was instagram, maybe she's telling the truth. (: And if you really want to know if she was lying just ask to see her instagram and try to unblock yourself. If it doesn't work then she was being totally honest with you! Good Luck!
