hi Blazevish, you forgot to say if this is a gaming computer or a casual user so let's cover both first the casual user is good but not for gaming. now for gaming the intel i7 960 is a gaming processor. motherboard is excellent choice but when it comes to video cards I subscribe to pcworld magazine and they cover graphics and according to them the professional gamers are going to two video cards one is a intel 250 to 280 and the other is Nvidia GeForce 9800gtx. they play night and day but why are these video cards more popular with gaming? you have the best of both worlds you get the killer graphics while at the same time you are keeping your computer cool. the only other thing I would consider is your hard drive I would get the 500 Seagate barracuda it would take you are day just to defragment your computer. and your power supply I recommend the 700 plus 80 not that too much power is a bad thing but you can save with the 700 plus 80. the rest looks good and you have a very good mobo. good luck I hope I was helpful to you

hemppy is incorrect. The computer build is good for gaming however you need to make sure that you use an operating system that will support that much RAM. I don't know which OS you have chosen, but it would need to be Windows 7 professional 64bit or better, or Windows 8 64bit or better.
