Regarding reactivate of my facebook account...?
Hi all,

I have deactivated my facebook account before some days.. and i forgot the password..now i want to reactivate it... but i am no longer using the email id's which are mentioned in my facebook account .. i have created new gmail account.... so i have used the security question option to reset my password... i have successfully answered the correct answer to security question... then the facebook showed me msg as "u have successfully proven ur identity" will send to u an account recover process to ur new account(gmail account)in the mail click the link to continue the account recovery process... if u didnt get mail from us within 30 minutes contact help center..."

but still i have not received any mail from facebook to my new gmail account...

is my account recovery process has started..? is i should wait for some more day for there response..?

how to know my account has reactivated...?

Please explain me...

if it is recover process has not started yet how to know that..? and is i can try one more time...?

It sounds to me like the new password was sent to your OLD email address. Do you still have the log in information for your old email address that was associated with the Facebook account in the first place? Facebook probably doesn't have any connection to your new email account, so it sent the answer to the old one. That's my best guess. The only way you're going to be able to get the new password is by logging into your old email account.

Instead of going through all of this trouble to reactivate your account, I would just start a brand new one. Since you're using a new email address and everything as well, it makes more sense to just start from scratch.

Hope this helps you out!
