Changed twitter username, old one still shows up in google?
My twitter account had my real name, and it showed up in google so I changed it but when I google myself, it still comes up. Is there a way to remove this or will google eventually update this and how long will that take? Thanks!

Nope. Once it is on Google it is there for life. That is old information that is stored on the Google servers. And it will be there "forever". Changing your account name does not automatically change all the information. (How is Google suppose to know that you changed the ID?)

Given time, as it is accessed less and less it will eventually "disappear". But every time you search for it to see if it gone, you active that information again.

actually you can request to remove a url from google listings if it is outdated which should speed up the process - https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals?pli=1
