Why do I get so upset all the time regarding Animal Cruelty?
I am a real animal lover and I'm becoming so upset lately about how people are abusing animals, especially dogs. I have 3 dogs myself and 5 cats and I love them more than anything, more than humans sometimes. All I see, especially on Facebook is stories of how people are so cruel to dogs, I just sit and cry constantly. Seeing dogs in kill shelters on there because no one wants them, if I could have more I would, but my house is too small and I also can't afford anymore. What is wrong with people, why do humans have to be so nasty to innocent animals who DO have feelings just like us and who just want to be loved, just like us? It's not their fault they were born an animal, no different to us being born human. Am I being over sensitive, I just need help as I feel like I'm cracking up over all this?

I think you are being oversensitive but it is because you are a good person. My pets are family to me. My cats are so smart, no one is going to convince me that they aren't like humans. I love them like family and would do almost anything for them. You can only try to help when you can and know the world is a tough place. You can't feel bad about what other people do.

You are a good person. You can't change the world by yourself, can't save every animal, and can't put an end to cruelty. Find a way to help animals, and maybe join organizations that share your values. Remember wild animals have emotions, too, and we want to help them have a place in the world. I assume you are vegan, also. That helps animals, and helps others think about how their actions can have good or bad influences on other sentient beings.
