Facebook friend request problems?

I'm new on facebook and have 3 friends so far.
I added a load more people I know, and then (without sending me a notification to say they've accepted) they all start showing up in my news feed. On my profile it says I have 13 friends, then when I click "see all" it comes up with only three.
Also, when I go on the peoples profiles it still says "friend request pending" and I can't see all their profile information

the thing about news feed is if u have a friend request pending and the friend u have sent a request has set the privacy setting is set to normal than u can see their news feed so u have only 3 friends and the others haven't accepted it till; yet.......

I would just like to make you aware that Facebook is going through some major issues (viruses, bugs ect) lately that many users are affected by. If something on Facebook acts wierd it is because they are having alot of issues. Myself is having facebook problems so im assuming they will fix the problem soon!

facebook don't send notifications that they accepted. i mean there is a notification spot, but depending how you use your facebook, in most cases it won't show past a certain point. unless your security settings like send email saying it every time, i'm saying you may miss it. i search the name or go to "edit Friends" and it tells you all there....

if your profile says you got 13 friends, then you have 13 friends. the error is the "see all having three... it should be the other way around. like the profile displays 3 you click view all and it shows all 13...

and when you can't see ppl's info, they blocked it. facebook does do that.
