How do you repair a GPU?
When I startup my computer there are lines all over my screen.
My GPU doesn't let me boot into windows, and i can only go into safe mode. I'm 100% sure its my GPU. Is there a way I can repair my GPU myself so I dont have to buy a new one? It's a Palit GTX 260 http://images.bit-tech.net/news_images/2...6SP_-0.jpg Cheers Ads |

Is this a new GPU? Have you used it before? What happened before it messed up? Does your motherboard have integrated graphics so we can try some troubleshooting?
If you need any help you can contact me at https://www.facebook.com/pages/NBSN/205302762950470 Please include the link to your yahoo question so I can know what the issue is and I will respond as quickly as I can. Typically you will recieve a response within an hour, but it will depend on total workload. Ads |

No real internal repair to the gpu try this go to nvidia .com and download and save the graphic drivers for that model to the hdd might have to look under legacy drivers , uninstall the graphic drivers use ccleaner registry option to clean up the registry of the nvidia drivers install the new drivers saved to the hdd, if that don't work , make sure no dust is on the graphic card , make sure it's in the slot tight mainly make sure the fan is running if all fails replace the graphic card
