Is this normal or weird?

My mum owns one of the biggest whole sale fish business in London. She serves companies (provides food for them) such as yahoo, twitter, apple, daily mail, BBC, us to do the queen. However I CANT STAND FISH!! I don't mind it on the table if someones eating it but I I can't eating anything in the fridge that is near it, I have my own fridge in the garage. But what surprised me is that my old cookery teacher dads was a butcher and she became a vegetarian, so is it a physiological thing?

a lot of people don't like fish, I doubt its psychological, butchers have gross jobs, but butchering a fish isn't that traumatizing.
