HOW SHOULD I CONCENTRATE ON MY COURSEWORK?
Whenever I need to write for my coursework, I tend to go on facebook, watch vidoes on youtube, go on tumblre, buy things from ebay and watch tv. How do I motivate myself to do work?

It's fairly obvious that you need to develop a habit of turning *all* of the modern-day distractions off for a couple hours a day and use that time to *focus on* and *take interest* in whatever it is that you are studying.

I mean, you can watch TV or surf the internet, etc. any time. What's so thrilling about Facebook? Generally, it is just mindless status updates. Sure, it's nice to know what your friends are up to, but is it that important? TV? Gah. That's completely mindless now. All advertisements and reality shows and vapid sit-coms, etc. I hardly ever watch TV.

At any rate, the real simple and easy way to learn any subject (literally *any* subject) is, as above, to turn off all the modern-day distractions for a few hours a day and *take interest* in the subject. Heck, I self-taught myself organic chemistry from a textbook over a few months, just by *taking interest* in it and not having any distractions going on. 2 hours a day. I can live without Facebook or youTube or TV for 2 hours a day (lol) ... and to be honest, it's actually *refreshing* to take a break from the modern technology for a few hours a day.

I'm not even in school ... but I'm motivated to learn new things. Next up for me is either more chemistry (a more advanced textbook) or I am even considering delving into physics. Do you see where my 'motivation' is coming from? It's coming from the fact that I am *interested* in learning new things. At this point, you're not interested in learning. You're interested in other things.
