Worried about an acquaintance/facebook friend?
I am facebook friends with a guy who I had a college course with about a year back. I was in a group project with him and a few other people. I really had to put a wall up with him because he doesn't exactly get a lot of female attention and I think he was really starting to like me and I did not want to give him any wrong ideas.

Anyway, I've noticed he's been putting a lot of statuses up that he doesn't have any friends and that he's sad etc.. I'm worried he's really depressed and could possible turn suicidal or something.

What do I do? Send him a message and ask him how he's doing? I haven't talked to him in months and months and I don't want to give him any wrong ideas.

Keep out of touch because you may very well make the situation worse. Also, if you do approach him and he gets the wrong impression which people that suffer from depression will as they are looking for something to ease that feeling, and then he gets clingy, what will you do then? Dump him again and send him to even a deeper depression? Best leave things as they are. Do you have a male facebook friend that can befriend him? Maybe that would be the best route to go.

He sounds like a very needy person and wants to guilt you back in to an online relationship. Do not contact him. In fact, remove him from your friend list and block him from contacting you. What this man does or doesn't do with his life is of no concern to you. Good luck.
