how do you delete facebook account?

i know you can deactivate facebook but it takes up to 14 days? but if i deactivate will people still be able to search me? i know if i log back in it makes it back how it used to be but if i deactivate it will my account be like deleted?

You can go to the tab at the top right that says account, go account settings and deactivate it from there. Other than that, there isn't much that you can do. People will not be able to find you under searches and it will remove all tags that you have of you.

delete & deactivate two separate things.when you delete or deactivate your account it will disappear from other users.(from that moment).people can't search you.
deleted account will take 14 days to completely remove from servers.after 14 days you can't take it back.you can log any time deactivated account as before.
