if you dont have facebook are you a weirdo or creep?

im not on facebook, i tell people because i value my privacy which is true, but the real reason is because during grade school i was severely bullied, and also assualted. I always felt those group of people would somehow try to hurt me later in life which is why i dont have facebook, i dont want all the negative people from my past looking for me, then making fun of my profile, etc.,some people enjoy connecting with old classmates, school for me was 90% awful and i only had 2 friends,, after college everything changed.....

I do have other social media sites but i do not list anything personal like photos, info, etc,, just my artwork thats it..people tell me they cant believe im not on facebook and whats wrong with me,, what do you think?

You have valid reasons NOT to be on Facebook.

Your publicly stated reason about privacy concerns is true and acceptable.

Don't do it if you don't want to.

I think Facebook is a huge, vapid waste of time. It makes people think they have actual relationships when what they really have is more time in front of a screen. But... if you're not doing it because you're afraid of what people might say or post, then don't friend them. I have a feeling in your case they'll be thinking "whoa, look how successful and good looking old Stylesail has become." That can only be good, right?

Believe me - you are MORE "normal" than all of the freaks that have stupid facebook. People have facebook because their lives are SO pathetic, they have to either know what everyone else is doing all of the time, OR they want to tell the world exactly what they are doing all the time - it is sick...and very weird. YOU are smarter and wiser for not doing facebook. No matter what has happened in the past, it shows that you are sure of yourself and don't need facebook to make yourself appear cool.
