Im interested in modelling?

Im fourteen and interested in modelling. Im not super skinny, im an 8 in Abercrombie jeans, in case you need to know. For tops im a small andmy breasts are a b cup. I have thicker legs, athletic build. Brunette, three inches past my shoulder. Brown almond shaped eyes. Idk. I dont mean to sound conceded but lots of people tell me I could bea model, but Iim afraid maybe my weight would be a problem. Any way im interested in modelling. How can I begin a career in modelling? If I can, when I become eighteen id like to model for Hollister or Abercrombie. Thankss.

Abercrombie and Hollister hire their models locally. You have to apply for a model position in your nearest store. If they accept you, then the store manager will send your picture to their head office and they will decide if they want to use you in one of their upcoming shoots

Just because someone tells you that you could be a model, doesn't mean you actually have a shot. People think that is the ultimate compliment to a girl and so many try out with only that encouragement in their head and get shot down horribly. In my honest opinion, i don't think you could be one. If you're afraid your weight might be an issue and you can't get down to 120 lbs or less, then you really cannot become one.

Anyway, you'll have to get hired as a sales associate to get a chance to model for Hollister or Abercrombie. Once, hired, they will take your picture and send it to corporate who will determine if you have what it takes to end up on a picture in the store or on a bag.
