Hundreds of years from now, will we be seen as great innovators?
Just a random thought I've had; we have plenty of documentary evidence on acheivments we've made thanks to technology such as social media, youtube and alternative ways to now save information such as "the cloud" etc.
Impossible to know, but whether versions of this technology still exist in the future, hypothetically if they are not, will we have enough to show for our innovations? Some information we store cant be kept forever surely? Ads |

Hundreds of years: Sure we will!
Thousands of years: I am sure we will still be recognized. But it may not be much more than the level our ancestors are recognized for coming up with the wheel. Ads |

We will probably be remembered as a society of idle couch potatoes addicted to computers, mobile phones, X-boxes, I-Pods and cars.
In 200 years time we will have lost the use of our legs,, and the spoken word and written language will be things of the past. As for music, the less said the better. Nothing worthy of the name has been written for 30 years. |
