Old Coins made before 2005 will be valid for market OR these has also to be exchanged from Bank in the given time frame

RBI has issued notice only for currency notes . It is because, notes printed prior to 2005 did not contain several security features of the notes printed after 2005. This withdrawal of earlier notes is to have control over counterfeiting and introduction of fake currencies in circulation by anti social elements. Fortunately we don't have fake coins in circulation.
