Facebook Alleged Copyright infringement..do they contact third party?
I posted a company christmas office decorating party video onto my facebook from my companys website. I just wanted to share with my family and friends what a wonderful company I work for and what a great job they did with decorating the office. I did not make the video myself. I received a notice from facebook on copyright infringement. I am now terrified! I never meant to break any copyright laws or do anything that could possibly cost me my job. Will they contact my job about this or is this simply a warning to me not to do it again?

There's really no problem here that's so big your supervisors will be contacted (although I'm wondering how a company video got caught in Facebook's filters). Next time, just post the URL (the internet address) to the page the video is on.

Im guessing that Facebook filters caught on to possibly a christmas song playing in the video. Don't worry, facebook have removed it to remove possible issues with being sued. Its more than likely that nothing will happen and your facebook account will not be affected in any way.
