Will there ever be any online tech companies in the future that will grow as large as Facebook or Google?

When you look at the Automobile industry the few people who got there first have dominated it and very few incredibly prosperous Automotive companies have sprung up since.

Would it be right to say that it is the same for the internet, that those who got there first like Google, facebook, amazon, etc are the only big names that will own the web, or will there ever be many underdogs who will take these giants by surprise.

It's not the same with Tech companies. Look at Microsoft for example, they've dominated the market for about 15 years and now that other tech like smartphones and tablets are flooding the market, they're only a shadow of what they were.
It is difficult for a new search company to overthrow Google for example, but that's not to say that other technology ideas can't grow out to become just as big or even bigger.

Even if you look at the automobile industry, what you're saying is not exactly true. Some of those early companies have closed their books long time ago and some relatively new Asian brands have come up to start dominating the old established brands American and European brands.
It just depends on how innovative you are as a company and how you keep a foot ahead of the competition.

Computer & Internet Technology is increase so fast in last 2 years. In the present time whole world is happy with the trends of technologies. But some of us are facing challenges over the internet everyday. We have to work in new ways every day, and our brains are not so flexible. But the big fishes of internet can do it all.

Most difficult it is for them who want to make money using the Internet. But you will need to find the ways like this girl Bethany. Many middle-class people are striving to take advantage of the Internet. Lower level internet users even don’t know about the benefits of internet. But now it is happening, all people are connected to the Internet. Belatedly but will definitely use. Humans look handicapped without technologies.

So what can we do?

The man is a machine and in present we have to think and act like a machines. But it will take time to be practical. The development of science is important, but the authority is necessary for all humans. Every person should have authority to move forward. We must think for everybody, not just for Google.
