what does # before a wird mean on facebook?
So i always have friends that are saying something like "#swag" or something like that. what does it mean to have the pound before it?

its a hashtag. its used for like twitter and tublr. theres no use for it on facebook.

its called a hash tag and on twitter its like a thing that trends. Like now its #Bestof2011. Ex. My #Bestof2011 is when i bought a car. It could also be a thing like if your sending someone something you add that in the end like "justin bieber your awesome #truebelieber. So on facebook its like a trending thing to add at the end of something you wrote. ex. just bought a car #swag. HOPE THIS HELPED
