I have a crush problem?!!!?

You see last year I was a sixth grader was a eighth grader. He was nice, really caring, very funny, and might I add cute and hot. Well I don't know what has happened to me really. What I am trying to say here is that I miss him I miss him so much, I know I sound stupid but its true. He left for high school and now I am a seventh grader. Every time someone makes a joke about me liking him or they just talk about him it makes me sad. Today I had a meltdown a person made a joke in gym and it was my best friend and i had enough so i started crying....because I missed him? What confuses me is why cant I get over him, Its been nine months 9 MONTHs since he left. Also there is this song that reminds me of him called a thousand years by Christina Perri and it makes my heart break when I listen to it but I still listen to it all the time. Last year my crush said only a couple words to me because the people around me make it look like I am a creep and a stalker. SO HOW DO I GET OVER HIME IF I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR A YEAR?

-realize that in a year or two you will be in high school too
-Jump off a cliff (no silly this is not a reasonable choice!)
-you should not feel embarrassed to like someone, i bet your friend has an obsession with some pop star or sports player so she(i think its a girl right?D) can't really judge
