Are teachers allowed to search my bag and take property from me?
Recently, at my school, a student took a picture of himself in class and posted it on Instagram. Ever since, my home room teacher is telling students to give their phone to her and she returns them at the end of the day. If some people don't give her their phone, she threatens to search their bag for it. Is this constitutional. By the way I go to a private school.

Unless in the contract your parents signed with the school says that they can search your property at will then no, it's not legal.

In a private school they can get away with anything other than abuse. You (or your parents) have chosen that school. The Constitution has nothing to do with it.

You could check the rules of the school (Student Handbook or whatever they call it), and complain to the principal if you think this shouldn't have been done, but you don't have 'rights' and have probably consented to a search like that by attending that school.

Schools have much more leeway in searching than do the police. Especially a private school can do as they want. Public schools can too especially if it is against school rules to have phones in the classroom. The reason that schools have been given these rights is to protect students. People who say it is illegal are not familiar with laws regarding schools.

That depends on the school. Private schools can do most anything. Public schools have more restrictions.
I once saw a child take a toy from the classroom and put it in her backpack to take home. I took it back out and was told I shouldn't have done it. I know teachers who have a "phone box" by the desk and the kids
put their phones in and take them when they leave. If they refuse to take it out of the bag, then the teachers make them put the bags by the desk. IF you kids would just stop playing with those phones all the time you wouldn't need to ask these questions.

Constitutional protections don't extend to your interations with a private business, and your school is a private business. Like the others have said, it is probably in your handbook what teachers and students can/cannot do. Unless they're asking you to strip down for a strip search, don't get too wound up about it. I imagine asking to look in your bag for illegal contraband, i.e. a phone, is going to pass muster.

If teacher did it for student then it is OK. If he did it for himself then it is not good. Then you should complain to principal. If you need any solution about your study then go to http://www.usessay.com/proofreading-services
