Facebook won't let me send a friend request?

I'm trying to add my aunt as a friend on Facebook. When I click the add friend button it says "You have already sent a request to connect." I asked this before but I didn't get any answers.
The last time I sent a request was months ago.

Did your aunt all ready take action on your request? Or didn't she receiving a message about the request neither?

Maybe you can ask your aunt try to add you as a friend on Facebook, maybe that will work :-)

Maybe your aunt click in "Not Now" on your request. Tell her to check it out.

I've been having the same issue with 2 people. It won't let me cancel the friend request either. Try sending her a message, and keep an eye on it until it says "Seen" Ask her if she saw your friend request if not, just ask your aunt to add you
