How do I get rid of random audio ads on my computer?
A couple of days ago I started to get "audio ads" on my computer (PC) at random times. So far they've all been advertising the Disney Channel (way off my radar; I don't watch it or anything resembling it). I can't find any pop-up window or other evidence of where or how it's running, so it's difficult to narrow it down. A couple of details: At the times the ads ran, I was signed on to Yahoo mail and Facebook. Also, I just signed up for Pandora the other day, coincidentally (or not...).

Any ideas? Any help will be greatly appreciated, as I have very little computer knowledge. Thanks.

Your solution is setting your PC's audio ads.

From what I've noticed everytime I've had to fix this problem. It was always a program running in the background simply playing audio. The problem is that even though you can simply stop the program from running the program file name isn't always the same and makes it hard to identify. Sad If you know the file name you can simply stop it and delete it but unless you're really comfortable doing this I would highly recommend taking your computer to your local computer repair location.

First download, install and update Malwarebytes free antimalware. Reboot into safe mode, open Malwarebytes and do a full scan.

Random Audio Or Visual Ad's would indicate possible Adware or Malware

Use Malwarebytes' Antimalware to check for any nasty's and to remove any
PUP's

Download

NOTE: Decline the Free Trial of Malwarebytes Pro for now. Not needed for
detection nor removal. They do that for Free. You may try it at a later
date if you so wish

NOTE: To have Malwarebytes check for PUP's:
Open the program>>Settings Tab>>Scanner Settings
On " Action for potentially unwanted programs(PUP)"
Click the arrow and change to "show in results list and check for removal"
