IPhone face book app help!?
I have the iPhone and use the Facebook app. I accidently pressed the log off button and now the app is like locked but it still says when I have a notification but I can't touch anything on the app. And to fix it I have to totally download it again. What does this mean? And how do I fix it? Thanks!

It's hard to picture what the problem actually is without seeing the problem for myself :/

The only thing I can suggest is to delete the Facebook app and re-download it seeing as it's free anyway and only takes a couple of minutes to download. That way it'll be quickly fixed and all you have to do is log in again.

Just remove the app from your iPhone by holding the Middle button in for a few seconds. The apps begin to shake. Click the 'X' on the Facebook app. Then go to app store and download it again for free. Then login and it should be fine. Hope this helps!

I know this may sound obvious... but have you tried switching your iPhone off and then back on again? Because that worked for me when the app froze.

If this doesn't work and you really do need to download it again, press and hold the app icon on your screen. You'll see that all the apps that don't come pre-loaded with the phone will start to wobble and show a little X icon in the corner. Touch the X icon to delete the Facebook app, then go to the app store and download the Facebook app again.

(By the way, you posted this in 'Books & Authors. When you post a question, always check that the suggested category Yahoo has given you is actually the right one. Often, it isn't.)
