Samsung galaxy S3 facebook app not working?

Hi, so i have had the s3 for about two weeks now and today the Facebook app has stopped working. when i go into the app it just keeps loading but nothing actually loads. I don't think its my network as i can connect to the internet fine and other apps work fine. Ive also tried reinstalling and clearing the cache.

Any ideas?

It may be your app, I'm not sure but...Facebook is struggling to load both on my PC & Nexus 7 since yesterday (26 Aug). The page does not render correctly or the site hangs. I dont know if that's helpful or a similar issue to yours?
