samsung galaxy s3 new update problems?

the update for the galaxy s3 has just ruined everything for me. some apps still run well but the internet app and the facebook app don't. for example the internet app, will load a page once, but then a message will appear saying that the webpage is unresponsive and even when you close it the app wont load another page. i do not like this as it was working just fine before the "update" and i was wondering what can be done about this. youtube does not work well either.
would factory resetting delete all my stuff on the phone?

You have to do a factory reset and yes, it will erase ALL your data (so do a backup).

Everything on my phone is backed up to google servers, if i do a factory reset, will I be able to retrieve all of it back?
