facebook video chat problem?

im trying to video chat with a friend on Facebook chat and im having some problems
1, we both can hear each other
2. my friend can see me but i cant see him
3 all i see is a black screen and in the corner is a small square video of myself

please help me i had this problem ever time i have tried to use the video chat
