Advertisements on my facebook account?

Ok, so every time I log in, on my News Feed, when I scroll down, there are like these advertisements in the middle of like the updates of my friends and I find it weird. What can i do so they won't be there? Why are they there?

If they are in the middle of the updates, and not off to the right side, they are spam, or just updates from pages you've liked or games your friends play. You can hide them, by moving your cursor to the top right of the post where a little X will pop up. You can decide to hide that one post, hide all the posts from that page, or report them.
