Is it possible to ever find a mate who doesn't like kids either?

Okay I'm gonna be perfectly honest, I don't like kids (I mean I care about them) but I don't like being around them at all. I don't like the noise they make and I can only tolerate them for so long and then I get easily annoyed and snappy sometimes but I can control it because It doesn't get that bad. And It seems like almost every adult I meet or hang with either already has kids or loves kids and want to have them soon which is nothing wrong with that but I'm just not a fan of kids and I don't like dealing with them at all so it would make absolutely NO sense at all to date someone who has kids or ones that don't have them but still loves kids and want them in the future. Sane thing goes for just friends. I don't wanna have friends who has kids cause I've always liked people who I always see eye to eye with especially when it comes to kids. But Why does it seems so impossible to find people who shares the same views as me?  I'm 22 btw and a female.

Yes, I'm sure it's possible, especially in this day and age.

Sure. Plenty of people do it. I know a lot of couples who have no children because neither one of them wanted any.

Most of the couples I know are pretty highly-educated professionals, and you're going to find more people who don't want children in that demographic than elsewhere.

You actually might try dating services or sites where you can state up front that you do not want children. That will help you weed out the men who want a family.

By the way, you don't have to be totally in sync on everything with your friends. It's sort of boring to have friends who haven't any opinions or likes or dislikes somewhat different from yours.

There are plenty of people that don't want children. I was one of those guys that hate kids until I had them. I love my boys however I still hate other peoples kids. Not wanting to have friends that have kids is a bit shallow but thats what want, you have that right.

Oh heck yeah! I am in the same boat per se! Look up "Childfree" - There are a hell of a lot of people out there (like you and me) that do not want children (including a mate with kids). Your not alone! There are a lot of like minded people out there for you to talk to! Theres a BUNCH of groups on Facebook and other blogs to get in touch with! It is TOTALLY normal to feel the way you do and do NOT let anyone tell you any different!
