I'll be getting my first smart phone soon, but I try to avoid apple. Do "apps" work on other types of phones?

yeh andriod have been somehow put in a basket by everyone new to the market with everyone now thinking iphone is the only way to go, (once thought that) but when i purchased my first smartphone i was delighted the apps are great and very similar to the app store ones. just make sure your get yourself a semi decent smartphone that has a good processor and you should be good to go on the apps front. im sure you will be happy with it once you realize you can get the same functionality out of a 250 pound smartphone then purchasing a 500 pound iphone
just to add some apps are exclusive to iphone but there is always an alternative app that will do the same on the android market somewhere Ads |

Of course, apps work in a similar manner as they work on the Apple iPhone. But the other App stores like Android Market and Blackberry App World are still lagging behind in terms of no. of apps. But I want you to be sure that apps do work on other platforms like Android or Samsung Galaxy Phone which are based on Android.

Um, when did Apple have privacy issues? No time that I could recall.
The apps made for the iPhone only work for the iPhone. Some of them have had Android & Windows Phone 7 versions made as well but some are not as good as their iPhone counterparts. The iPhone has the biggest and best App Store around. |
