Is 'BTEC Film and TV Production', the right course for me?
So, I'm 16 years old and I've just enrolled at Tower Hamlets College.
I got 5 GCSEs:

B in English Language
B in Religious Studies
C in Art
C in English Literature
C in Sociology

I'll be studying BTEC Level 3 Film, TV Production & Multimedia (basically Media Studies) as well as retaking GCSE Maths, seeing as I got a dismal E.

I spend most of my time on the computer, watching tv programmes and films (past & present on YouTube. I'm interested in ad campaigns and music videos too. I also social media such as Twitter and Facebook to connect with others. I'm a very creative person and I enjoy creative writing and making stuff. I would like to be a journalist when I'm older, writing for entertainment blogs, magazines such as NME/Heat or newspapers such as The Guardian.

I was just wondering whether I've chosen the right course. Here's a link detailing the course ---> http://www.tower.ac.uk/courses/level...-tv-production

The tutors I spoke to, said that it was but I'm still unsure. The other BTEC course is more align with what I want to do, however it is only for 1 year instead of 2. It's a shame that I can't do A Levels as this course seems way much better ---> http://www.tower.ac.uk/courses/asa-level-media-studies
