Well people you know. Others could be pedophiles, etc. So just be careful. If they don't know you and ask info about you delete them and if they try to add you again ignore them and tell your parents.

There is absolutely NO danger, NO danger, of having 1000 friends on a networking website. Providing your address/home number is not on it, and your (daughter/son) doesn't meet any strangers in public. (which should be a given)

Facebook may ban your account if you reach 1500 friends.

The average amount of friends a 13 year old has on facebook is around 250 friends.
