What are some negative aspects of Facebook from the producers perspective?

Sure, there are many positive and negative aspects of the social networking site from our view the consumers, but are there any for the producers of the site? I mean, the positive ones are for sure the money by the many users and advertisements.

Any legal implications. Like if someone committed a crime using facebook. Child molestation, child porn, stalking by strangers, or other scary things. You never know who is watching what you do.

facebook has become so sucessful and so widely known because of it's security and ability to protect it's users. however, because of that they are heavily burdened with constantly making sure that there is no possibly way for someone's profile to not be completely private if they want it to be. for instance, the top friends application on facebook was very popular, but because it was found that there was a glitch that caused people to be able to view pictures and information of other profiles that weren't their friends. because of that facebook has had to stop the top friends application. so to answer your question, one of the negative sides of facebook producers is that they have to constantly watch the applications that they allow to be used on their site to make sure that there is no problem in them in order to save their own neck.
