I need some advice easy points...?!?!?

So there's this guy. I have him in gym class, so one day I justness whim and he saw me, so then I thought he was cute so I I told my friends I had a small crush on him. So then one day he added me , on facebook . He started messaging me more and more. So it stayed like that for a few days weeks,

So now since February 14 happened. The night before we went to school which was in valentines day. He had asked me wat kinda chocolate I like so I askeD the same to him too. So then on valentines day... in gym class ... He was too shy , to give me the chocolates , but I was also sooooo shy so it wouldn't work out. And also he was sitting on the floor on. The other far side of the bleachers and I was on the other opposite side of those bleachers. So then the
Bell rang and I asks my friend to give the chocolates I also bought him. So then my friend went up to him and he had given her the chocolate he bought me. Sooooo then

That day on the bus his friend messaged me and told me asked me about him. his friend had to me that he said he wanted to ask me out and that I was pretty.


So then that day at night we messaged eachother and we talked about everything that happened. So then he asks me out to trough message. I said yes and then he added that he was gonna ask me in person cause it's the moral thing to do. So



Soooo what I need advice in is that he said " so, you wanna go out.?" And I said "^-^ Yeah; Sure" ...


So now today I messaged him and we talked for a few hours and he asked for my number.

But the problem is : he's so serious and doesn't really flirt only at times he puts smiley faces and wonky faces but only sometimes here and there . And by him asking me out what exactly does he mean?? Go out or be his gf????

Yeah, that's translated to "will you be my girlfriend". If he just wanted to go somewhere with you, that's what he would have asked.
