Facebook's mobile site isn't working?

I'm using and iPod touch, 2g, v. 4.1. I can't download the mobile app because my version is too low, and I can't update my iPod because I don't have a computer. So I logged onto the mobile site, and made a bookmark to Facebook on my homescreen. Now everytime I log onto the the mobile site, it let's me stay on for at least 5 seconds then takes me back to the home screen. Do any of you know how to fix this ,and/or why it's happening? I need a solution that fixes the mobile site ( I will report you if you tell me to get the app or upgrade my iPod version, so don't waste my time.)

Currently all the facebook apps are under maintenance. I am using HTC android phone where my facebook is doing the same creepy stuff like yours ...
