About Twitter uploading?

Uhm. Okay so i tried to put a pic that was edited of me as my Twitter backround...It says it doesnt accept JPEG. formated images..So im wondering, How do i change the format so i can use this Photo! I need to change it to like, A regular formated photo but idk How...HELP ASAP PLS!?

Well if you are on Windows.

Open up paint.
(Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint)

Open your picture by going to file open then find your picture.

Once its open hit save as and save it as a .gif or png and try it then.
