How do I get into my second yahoo acct? PW not working.?
I have tried to reset the password several times. Reset information is not coming into my working account. This topic is not on the help website. I have received info from Yahoo in my working inbox but they redirect me to the help website.

This account is tied into my bill paying! I can't tell if someone else is using it.

This help link will explain in another way what is below. http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...=PROD_ACCT

The first thing you should try is to enter the email address you can't remember the password for and then click on I CAN'T ACCESS MY ACCOUNT that is located on your sign in screen
One of your options is " I have a problem with my password". Place a dot in the circle to the left of it .. click on NEXT and follow the prompts... +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

You can get a new password, a Yahoo! ID reminder, or both. If you forgot your Yahoo! ID or password, go to the Sign-in Problems page. https://edit.yahoo.com/forgot?login

You can use this link for just your password... https://edit.yahoo.com/forgot?stage=fe10…

If you forgot your Yahoo! ID, you need to provide three pieces of information so we can confirm your identity:

* Your birthday
* Your ZIP or postal code (at the time you created your Yahoo! account or when you last updated it)
* Country code (at the time you created your Yahoo! account or when you last updated it)

Be sure to provide the same information you gave the last time you registered for a new Yahoo! ID or password or the last time you updated your account.

If you forgot your password, you can create a new one. But first you’ll have to provide the following information so we can confirm your identity:

* Your Yahoo! ID
* Alternate email address, mobile phone number, or the answers to your secret questions

A Reset Your Password link will be sent to your alternate email address. Click the link and enter your new password in the Reset your password page.

If you entered your secret question incorrectly or forgot what you originally entered, for security reasons, we cannot tell you what your Yahoo! ID is or let you create a new password.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Contact Yahoo thru this link for security answer problems....https://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?locale=en_US&y=PROD_ACCT&page=contact
In the first box click on YAHOO ACCOUNT
Select the following from the drop-down menu in the next box.." PASSWORD and SIGN IN"
In the SUB CATEGORY....click on FORGOT MY SECURITY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
(This may not be available now and if it is not click on MY ISSUE DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE LIST.)
Fill in a BRIEF DESCRIPTION. Once you enter that you will be given a possible help link and a link to contact customer care....
This can be used for other problems noted in the drop down menu that has the PASSWORD and SIGN IN choice.

If you think someone else is accessing your account the following article will show how to check your account activity log.

How to tell if your account was hacked - http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...sions=true

In order to protect your account Yahoo can't reset your password unless we can verify you are the actual account owner.

If you're seeing a prompt asking you to answer a security question the following article will provide more information about this situation.

"Confirm your identity" pop-up message - http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...=PROD_ACCT

Here's some information on why you may be having a problem with your password and what to do about it.

My password is not working - http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...=PROD_ACCT

Here's how to recover your password using a mobile phone number, an alternate email address, or by answering your security questions.

Recover your Yahoo! ID or password using your alternate email address or security questions - http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=en...ions=false

If you do not have a non-Yahoo! alternate email address, valid mobile number, or cannot verify your security questions you will need to contact Yahoo Customer Care, the following contact options are available:

Call toll-free US (Toll Free): 1-800-318-0612 US
International: 408-916-2100
Twitter - https://twitter.com/YahooCare
Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/YahooCustomerCare

Click one of the links above and then click the "Contact Customer Care" link under the Quick Links section to the right of your screen. This should open the "How can we help you?" form.

"Select your Product" select "Yahoo! Account"
"Select your category" select "Password and sign in"
"Select your sub-category" select "unable to sign in"
Scroll down until you see an envelope that says "Email a Support Agent".
Click on the envelope and fill out the form.

You will need to provide the information requested so that Yahoo can verify you are the actual account owner. The more information you can provide the better. If you can't remember some of the information, put down "I don't remember".

Here's some guidelines for creating a secure, strong password - http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...OD_MAIL_ML

Once you're able to change your password it would be a good idea to review your security questions and make changes if you don't remember your answers.

Changing your security questions - http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?locale=en...id=SLN2031

I recommend using a password manager like Keepass or LastPass to create and store strong unique passwords for the sites you visit. You can also save notes like your secret questions and answers to the password entries. LastPass can automatically log you in to any web site you have stored in its database.
