galaxy tab or ipad mini?

Im in the process of buying a tablet and I am so stuck on which tablet to get. I am between the Ipad mini or the galaxy tab 3. I want it for games like candy crush, social media, web surfing and watching tv shows/videos at the gym etc. I am not happy with the limited selection of things I want to watch on hulu plus and Netflix and was excited to get amazon instant videos with the prime membership but then found out it doesn't work on galaxy. only ipad and kindle products. recommendations?

The Amazon instant video uses .wmv format, which wont work on Galaxy Tab 3 and the only android device it will work on would be the Kindle Fire itself.

If Amazon instant videos are really important then iPad Mini would give you direct access to it. On galaxy tab, you'll have to remove DRM to be able to play the videos.

For rest of the things like candy crush, social media, web surfing and watching tv shows/videos, both would work great but the Galaxy Tab 3 gives a better bang for buck.
