Why won't my friend add me to Facebook?

I have a friend I know in person. This friend added me to MySpace and Messenger, but not Facebook. (I had sent a friend request to all three sites at the same time). I have even tried re-requesting the Facebook friend request, but for days now it has said, "Friend Request Pending" or something like that. I thought people got e-mail notifications from Facebook when people send them friend requests...

I think you can turn off email notifications so they might not know you have sent something and maybe they just haven't logged in to the website recently.

Try sending them a message on MySpace / Messenger and tell them they have a friend request pending!

It's possible that they don't actively use Facebook. For example, I don't actively accept friend requests on my MySpace because I've already accepted them on Facebook. You could try asking them if they use their Facebook.
