If I change the date on a post in my fb timeline to a newer time does it reappear on my friends' news feed?

You should check to see what your privacy settings are. If you have your posts setup so that only you can see them, then they won't appear on any of your friends' news feeds no matter what you do.

Changing the date of a post to a more recent date will only make the post appear higher up on your timeline but won't make it display on people's news feeds if the settings are so only you can see the posts.

Keep in mind that any post you add on facebook can have different privacy settings but it usually goes by whatever your last setting is.

If your privacy setting is set so your friends can see them, then ask 1 or 2 of your friends if they can see your posts.
