Is it ever OK to ask a girl for her number online?
I'm 17 and I work in a bakery about 20 hours a week and there is this girl there who I have talked a lot to over the last month and a half. The past few weeks she has been flirting with me, verbally and physically, and we talk a lot while we're there. I followed her on Twitter and she followed back, and we tweeted back and forth a few times.

For the past few days I've been telling myself that I was going to ask her for her phone number, and I've failed to do so. Either the situation didn't feel right or I just didn't feel confident enough.

Now I'm kicking myself because I work tomorrow but she doesn't, and we're both "on-call" Saturday, which means we may or may not have to go in. And we are off on Sunday. So there is a chance I might not see her again until Monday. I really like this girl and I think about her basically all day.

I really wanted to be able to text her this weekend about either going into work or being off on Saturday. So now I have two options:

1. Wait until Monday to ask her in person, however painful it will be to sit around in regret that I didn't do it today.
2. Ask her for her number on Twitter.

I fear that if I ask her on Twitter she will think that I lack the confidence to do it in person, and that she won't like that. She might give it to me, but she might view me differently.

Do I ask her on Twitter or do I wait, painfully, until Monday to ask her in person?

In person. It mite feel rude to be asked online. In person it feels more personal and special

Wait untl monday, i thought at first when you said over the internet you meant facebook- which would be okay. But not twitter, she may think different of you and she might not want to put her number on there anyway. So my advice is to hold out til monday, if you can Smile
