What do you think about Social Media?

Ok so im doing this thing in class where we have to debate about social media, im on the pros side and one of the things im talking about is the pro of "connecting with friends and family easily over the internet" what are some pros to that? what do you think about it??

its great for keeping in touch, has advantages over the phone, snail mail and email. as long as you don't overuse its purpose like some people do on facebook it seems to make sense.

Oh great good topic for debate...
As social media help u to connect friends and family as well as other people too...
Sometimes it's not possible to meet your friends and family members due to busy schedule but by social networking websites like facebook we are able to see them, talk them etc..
All time we are in touch with our near and dear ones...

But one thing I must say we have to use these websites in a positive way not by posting vulgar and abusive things on it...
