what happened to yahoo avatars?

I've been trying to get to yahoo avatars lately to change mine, but I can't find any links there. I even tried searching for it, but I couldn't get there. I went to my profile and it gave me options to use a photo from my computer or from facebook, but no way to change the avatar. Did yahoo get rid of the avatars app or change it somehow?

Yahoo no longer provides avatars however you can create one from other free sites see the links below.If you are on wireless you must wait until you are on a computer.
Choose either a cartoon or a photo avatar you had saved to your pc.

Close and reopen your browser or reboot. and your avatar should be showing If your avatar isn't showing try resizing it to make it smaller.
