Are social conservatives killing the cause for free market capitalism?

The only party that even pays lip service to free market capitalism has been overrun by social conservatives who push this agenda to institutionalize social conservative values into law. This turns a lot of Americans off. If Republicans would just give up on all the social conservative stuff they might actually make some headway on preserving or advancing economic freedom and the free market in this country.

The idea that free people should not be allowed to make market corrections is killing the free market.

The attack on your freedom is also a social cause. You can't have a free market without morality. E.G. Barney Fwank and the collapse of the housing sector.

I totally agree with you here although I'm not a republican, I'm a Voluntaryist/Free Market Anarchist.
