Is it normal for Facebook to stress me out?
On Facebook, I feel pressured to show the most exciting and glamorous parts of my life. Even though nobody tells me that I need to post photos or statuses, there seems to be an expectation. Even if I do post something (which is rare), I'm afraid that it won't get enough likes. I'm a freshman in college and most of my friends are more active and popular on Facebook than I am. There seems to be a pervading belief that the number of likes people get on their photos or statuses positively correlates with their likability/sociability.
I never seem to get many likes, which makes me afraid that people will think negatively of me before they know me. I make good first impressions, but then people seem to view me differently after I accept their friend requests on facebook.

FB is a load of nonsense for people with nothing else to do. Millions are closing their accounts down. Most of what is written are lies.
Just close it and get a life.

I think its normal to feel as though you have to fit in and share the most exciting parts of your life. Its interesting because we were talking about this sort of thing in my English lesson, where my whole class said they felt the same pressure and if they don't get a certain number of likes then they delete there pictures or status's.

At the end of the day, there are much more important things and as long as you are a good and caring person, then it doesn't matter! I think its important not to give in to pressure like this and don't let "likes" determine who you are!

if all they care about is the amount of likes you get on Facebook are they really the kind of people you want to associate with?
