Blocking my dad from Facebook status?
Basically I'm possibly going to block my dad from seeing my Facebook status updates (we're friends on FB).
Does that include things I 'like' and share, etc? I'm doing this because he sees whatever I post and I don't want him to criticise it, it's really frustrating for me, really. Also, would he be notified by email or Facebook notification that I made that change Ads |

Yeah it does includes what you post, that's because you're friends with him. My advice not to add any of your parents facebook accounts. You can can the privacy settings so that only him cannot see your post.

if you "block" him, that means you will no longer be on each other's friends list - he'll probably notice that
add him to your restricted list instead, maybe he wont notice |

Instead of blocking him (he will eventually know this) that will surely hurt him, put him in your Restricted list, so he can only see your public posting & involvement. Thus said, post mostly with Friends setting, sometimes post nice things set to public, so he'll see that.
