Hide friendlist but still display mutual friends?

I want to hide my friendslist on facebook; but I still want facebook to show the mutual friends between me and themselves. I have seen some people who have this setup with the timeline.
I don't want to get the timeline. How do I do this? Is it possible without timeline? I only want my friends to be able to see mutuals.

When you hide your friendlist it happens automatically people with mutual friends will always see them

mutual friends are always being showed wheter its old fb or new fb if you got your friend list locked also then if other user have same friend as you have then it wil appear above the family or instead of friends
